Conflict Minerals Sourcing Policy

EICC has pointed out that some minerals have become the main financial source for the rebellion groups in the Democratic Republic of the Congo or an adjoining country, which are used for arms trade to extend bloody conflict with government and ravage local civilians, consequently they cause international dispute. As a member of the world, we Lailey and Coates International Limited declares that we do not  accept or use the minerals from the conflict areas. Meanwhile we require suppliers of Lailey and Coates International Limited to take the following actions:

1. Must fulfill social and environmental responsibilities.

2.  Make sure not use “Conflict Minerals”from the Democratic Republic of the Congo or an adjoining country.

3.  Trace the sources of all the products contain 3TG (Tantalum, Tin, Tungsten, Gold). All suppliers whose products contain any of 3TG minerals should complete the survey(s).

4.  Notify those requirements to your upstream suppliers.

5.  For more information, please refer to our websites as follows:

Conflict minerals: means columbite-tantalite (coltan), cassiterite, wolframite, gold or their derivatives come from the Democratic Republic of the Congo or an adjoining country. 3TG (Tantalum, Tin, Tungsten, Gold) can be refined from those minerals and used in electronic products and other products.

In near future, will prohibit the use of metals from some smelts, hence all crucial suppliers must trace the sources and smelters of the metals which used in their components and parts.
